ABOUT
I am an alumna of UC Santa Barbara interested in neurological medicine and underserved health.
Growing up as a Lebanese immigrant, I was blessed with the gift of four languages. But in college, I learned, through hard work and curiosity, one of the hardest languages of all—the language of neuroscience.
As I became increasingly fascinated by the complexities of the brain, I also found myself in the middle of a dangerously big divide between the health world and the general public.

So I made it my mission to bridge the gap, combining my love for science with my passion for language and earning a minor in Professional Writing for Science Communication.

Ultimately, my goal is to delve further into communicating science and health through the art of language. I want to create a better language, a more personal one geared towards prevention through education and accessibility.

This portfolio highlights my journey into reshaping healthcare by sharing science with others.

In my free time, I love listening to records, painting, and reading the masterpieces of Khalil Gibran.
